A survey seeking to learn more on the views of young people living in Moray is offering tickets for a music festival as an incentive for taking part.
Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) is seeking the views of people in the 15 to 30 age group on a raft of issues including jobs, education and the cost of living.
The survey is a follow-up to a similar exercise carried out six years ago and seeks to learn what measures are required to encourage young people to remain living in the region. HIE manager David Oxley says that the survey will be important in revealing how aware young people are of the opportunities that are becoming available in Moray.
He said: “Young people are a vital part of a thriving region and our previous study in 2009 highlighted the need for us to do more at attract and retain young people between 15 and 30.
“We need to assess how aware young people in Moray are of opportunities and of what else we and our partners should be doing.”
From those who take part in the survey five will be selected to win a pair of three-day tickets for the Belladrum Tartan Heart festival this summer.
