A new guide has been released highlighting Elgin’s food and drink venues as part of the national Year of Food and Drink celebrations.
Produced by Elgin BID with support from Moray Council and the Scottish Government, the ‘Elgin Food and Drink Trail’ is being provided as an integral part of the action plan for Elgin town centre.
The free guide lists all the food and drink venues in the Elgin BID area be they pubs and takeaways or bistros and fine dining restaurants. The guide has been produced with tourists and visitors to Moray in mind so the glossy A3 folded leaflet will be available at outlets throughout Moray as well as in Inverness, Loch Ness, Aviemore, Kingussie and greater Speyside.
It was born from an idea first put forward by Elgin BID’s Gill Neil who said: “There is a choice of food in Elgin for every palate and with a price tag to suit every pocket.
“This Food and Drink guide provides an easy reference for visitors and locals to find local restaurants, hotels, pubs, clubs and cafes.
“Elgin has something for everyone so I urge people in Moray and visitors to work their way through the places featured in this guide and enjoy the taste of Elgin.”
