No injuries as crews rush to blaze in Moray village

FIRE CREWS FROM Elgin and Lossiemouth rushed to a Moray village on Tuesday evening when an alarm was raised.

Scottish Fire and Rescue crews were alerted to the incident at around 6.50pm and attended the property on Cooper Street in Hopeman.

Nobody was injured in the fire that saw firefighters using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to assist them in quelling the blaze.

Crews also used a thermal imaging camera and fan to ensure the property was safe.
