
A WOMAN WAS recovering at Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin last night following a horrific accident in New Elgin.
Two vehicles collided shortly after noon on Main Street, leaving one of the vehicles on its roof close to the Jet Garage on one of the main routes in and out of Elgin.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed that there were no serious injuries but described the scene as including “a couple of walking wounded”.
One Scottish Fire and Rescue Service appliance was in attendance from the local Elgin station and they assisted in making the road safe.
The road remained closed for an hour while investigators looked into the cause of the crash involving an Audi A3 and a Honda CRV.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed that a woman had been taken to Dr Gray’s and was described as being in a stable condition.
