Moray communities gear up for their Festive Fayre

Christmas time is getting closer....
Christmas time is getting closer….

WITH JUST OVER five weeks remaining until Christmas the annual round of village and town Fayre’s is getting under way as the festive lights are switched on around Moray.

Miltonduff will see one of the first when on Saturday the cancer charity CLAN Moray hosts a Fayre on Saturday in the village hall from 10am until Noon.

Refreshments, home bakes, a bottle stall and of course a visit from Santa are all aimed at getting people into the mood for the festive season – and for those that can’t make it but would like to make a difference, organisers would be delighted to accept donations at the hall this week.

The Christmas Market will be held at the Old Railway Station on Maisondieu Road in Elgin on Friday, November 27 from 5.30pm until 8pm. Mulled wine is served on arrival with plentiful crafts available for visitors to browse.

The following day there is another Arts and Crafts Christmas market getting under way in The Park at Findhorn – this will be held from Friday, November 28 all the way through the festive season until January 10, 2016.

Also on November 28 back in Elgin, Moray Cats Protection will hold their Christmas Fair from 11am to 4pm at the Elgin Town Hall on Trinity Place. Still in Elgin, the Bishopmill Primary School are hosting a Fair on December 4 from 6pm to 8pm.
