TWO MEN WILL appear at Elgin Sheriff Court today charged with robbery after cash was taken from a Bishopmill home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 25 and 29 year old men were arrested after the theft at around 2am at the home on Christie Place.
Police say that a silver Subaru car was involved in the incident – and that the same vehicle may have been involved in an unrelated incident earlier in the evening.
A spokesman said: “We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen a silver Subaru acting suspiciously either in Christie Place, Elgin at around 2am or on the A96 between Forres and Keith at around 1am to come forward.”
Anyone who has information that they believe would be of help to the police should call them on 101 or, if they wish to remain anonymous, via the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
