AN ATTEMPTED ROBBERY in Elgin has prompted an appeal by police for possible witnesses to come forward.
An 18-year-old man was unhurt but shaken after an incident at the Tyock Industrial Estate at around 10.45pm on Saturday evening (December 12).
Investigating officer Detective Constable Robert Williams said: “The man responsible has been described as being approximately 6ft tall, heavy build, wearing a navy or black Reebok hoody and spoke with a local accent.
“It is understood that his face was partially covered at the time to disguise himself.
“Despite that, someone nearby may have seen a male loitering before or after the incident and I would encourage anyone with information to come forward.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
