GLOBAL WARMING WILL feature in an event that brings two of Scotland’s most prominent academics to Moray next week.

As part of the Moray Science Festival and in association with the Falconer Museum, Professor Colin McInnes MBE and Professor Martin McCoustra will speak at the Universal Hall in Findhorn on Wednesday, March 2.

Billed as a ‘Night with the Pofs’, Professor McInnes, who is from the University of Glasgow, will talk on the history and future of power, while Professor McCoustra, from Edinburgh’s Heriot Watt University, will speak on the Sun, the Earth and Global Warming.

Project development officer at the Falconer, Anne Owen, said: “We are hoping that as many people as possible can make it along to learn about the history and the future of power – and enjoy a unique opportunity to ask questions of our key speakers and experts in these fields.”

Entry is by donation at the door with doors opening at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
