RESIDENTS IN FORRES are being warned to keep a lookout for vandals who are striking at parked vehicles in the town.

The call comes after several cars were damaged on Califer Road late on Saturday evening or in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It is the latest attack on residential areas in Moray and one that continues to cause concern for police and residents alike.

A Califer Road resident told insideMoray: “Several people discovered their vehicles had been damaged on Sunday morning – while I was one of the fortunate ones who had not been hit, this is of great concern – and expense – for those who were not so fortunate.

“This is by no means the first time this has happened, my partners’ car was vandalised a while back and those responsible were never found.

“People need to keep a close watch for whoever is doing this and let the police know if they have information.”

Anyone who has information about the latest or any other acts of vandalism in their communities is urged to contact police on 101.
