A FORRES FIRM has entered what it hopes will be a lucrative partnership with one of the world’s leading technology firms.

AES Solar, based at Lea Road in the town, have been selected as the premium installer for Panasonic Solar modules, allowing the firm to market and fit systems including their highly efficient ‘heterojunction’ PV modules.

George Goudsmit, managing director at AES Solar, welcomed the news noting that it came from Panasonic recognising the exceptional customer service provided from Moray.

He said: “We are delighted to be working with Panasonic, who produce some of the best solar PV modules available. Being appointed to the Premium Installer Scheme demonstrates that AES Solar are a trusted solar installer, always delivering exceptional service to our customers.”

Even with the recent reduction in Government subsidies, known as the “feed-in-tariff”, the solar industry is continuing to grow thanks to technological innovation and high quality products enabling consumers to continue saving money on their energy bills.

Daniel Roca, Senior Business Development Manager at Panasonic Eco Solutions Europe said: “Panasonic is pleased to welcome AES Solar into our Premium Installer scheme. AES Solar is an experienced solar installer with a reputation for giving exceptional customer service.

“We launched our Premium Installer scheme to provide the UK with a certified, hand picked selection of installers that place quality of service and products at the forefront of their business ethos. We believe AES Solar shares this ethos and we’re looking forward to a strong partnership in future.”

AES Solar has been operating from Moray since 1979 and was the first solar thermal manufacturer in the UK. They still provide industry-leading solar thermal modules and partner other manufacturers as a trusted installer of both solar systems and thermal products.
