A POP-UP MARKET with a difference is set to appear at the St Giles Shopping centre in Elgin this month – aimed specifically at social enterprise organisations.
The Market has been organised by tsiMORAY who say their Profit for Purpose market will see a wide range of goods and activities on offer from organisations who are in business with a “clear social purpose”.
Kim Siu, tsiMORAY’s social enterprise development officer, explained: “Social enterprises make profit for purpose and add extra value to our local economy.
“The benefits are more than just financial – they support some of our most vulnerable people whilst offering quality services and products at competitive prices!
“I’m keen that people come along and see for themselves the great work that is being done daily in a place near you.”
The pop-up market will be open on Friday, June 24 from 9am until 5pm. Organisations confirmed to be taking part in the market so far are:
• Earthtime
• Moxi Media
• Greenfingers
