Police appeal in hunt for missing Kids’ Tepee

POLICE SCOTLAND HAS issued a renewed appeal for information over a Tepee stolen from the rear of Spynie Hall in Elgin last week.

The distinctive tent was permanently pitched as part of the children’s outdoor learning centre and went at some point between 6pm on Thursday, June 9 and 7.45am on Friday, June 10.

Investigating officer is Constable James Lipscombe, who said: “I would appeal to members of the public who may have noticed strange activity in the area around the time in question to get in touch.

I would also appeal to anyone who may be offered the Tepee to contact Police as soon as possible.

“This incident has caused a great deal of distress to those affected, and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch.”
