
A TWO VEHICLE collision on the A96 has sparked a police investigation after a driver failed to stop.
Police Scotland say the crash happened on the A96 at the roundabout junction on the west side of Mosstodloch.
Two cars were involved at around 10.30am on Thursday, July 14 – a blue Ford hatchback with a ‘13’ plate and a black Vauxhall Corsa.
Following the accident the driver of the blue Ford failed to stop at the scene, while the female driver of the Corsa was uninjured she was left shaken by her experience. Her car sustained minor damage in the form of a dent and scratches to the bodywork.
Investigating Officer Constable Hannah Haywood from the Buckie community policing team said: “It is understood that several vehicles, including a tanker lorry were driving on the same stretch of road at the time of the incident. I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward with information.”
