Logan’s Family Fun Day arrives for the seventh running this weekend.

THE SEVENTH RUNNING of an annual community event that has raised thousands of pounds for children suffering from cancer is set to take place in Moray this weekend.

Logan’s Fund are to host their annual fun day on the Lossiemouth playing fields on Sunday – and as ever it promises to be packed with entertainment for all ages.

Opening at 10am with a car boot sale, this year the day will see the official launch performance of a new song written specifically for Logan Main, the young boy who lost his battle against cancer and in whose memory the fund was created.

Proceedings in the main display area will begin with world pipe band championship class winners 2622 Squadron. Pet lovers have a chance to enter a fun Dog Show organised by Tail Talk – all entrants for that must be made by 12.30 on the day or in advance by contacting susan@tail-talk.co.uk.

A touch of glitz will be provided by the All Stars & Stripes Dance group who finally make it after years of seeking to perform in Lossiemouth, while the local SFEAR Kickboxing group will demonstrate just why their sport was so popular at the Rio Olympics where Team GB took several medals – including a gold.

Pony rides, Archery and the beautiful birds from 2wit 2woo will be on hand alongside a variety of inflatables and rides that will again prove popular with the kids.

Logan’s Fun Day 2016 takes place on Sunday, August 28 – contact for bookings or enquiries can be made to info@logansfund.org or by calling 07966 047286. You can also find details on the event by visiting the Logan’s Fund Facebook page.
