JUST NINE MORE days remain before people in Moray and throughout Speyside have the opportunity to make a difference in the ever popular Kiltwalk.
The third Royal Bank of Scotland-backed Kiltwalk sets out from Buckie on Sunday, August 14 with hundreds already pledged to take part in an event that has already raised over £600,000.
Moray Speyside’s Kiltwalk is the third event this year and follows on from those held in Glasgow and Aberdeen (see video below for footage of the Aberdeen event). Every penny raised goes to Scottish charities.
There are three challenges in the Moray Speyside Kiltwalk – 26 miles from Buckie, 16 miles from Fochabers and a 6.6mile event from Alice Littler Park in Aberlour.
Many charities supporting local children are set to benefit from fundraising including Maggie Centres, Enable, Archie Foundation, Aberlour Child Care Trust, The Aila Coull Foundation and MFR Cash For Kids.
Anyone wishing to sign up for the walk should visit http://www.thekiltwalk.co.uk/events/speyside/ for full details and entry forms.
