A MORAY SPORTS club has received a major boost this week with the announcement by the local branch of national opticians and audiologists that they are to continue their sponsorship into a third year.
Specsavers Elgin stepped in as a sponsor of the Moray Rugby Club over the last two years – now the local branch has scored a winning try once more by pledging backing of £1000 for a further year.
The backing has allowed the club to supply new kits for their ‘mini’ and ‘micro’ teams – now the latest deal will allow new equipment to be purchased.
“We are thrilled that Specsavers have again committed to support our youth section with another year of sponsorship,” says Billy Adams, President at Moray Rugby Club.
He added: “This commitment to Moray Rugby Youth Development is vital to our continued operation and will help us purchase the essential equipment required for our youth section to enjoy the sport for another year.”
Elgin store director Peter Taylor said that they were delighted to continue their support for the club, adding: “We are proud to assist local organisations and, as the club is so popular in the area, it’s great to be a main sponsor for yet another year.
“The whole team here at Specsavers Elgin wish them the best of luck for a successful season.”
