MORAY PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN were celebrating having newly refurbished outside space this week by holding their own garden party.

Dyke Pre-School’s garden was revamped thanks to the work of the Tesco Maintenance team and landscape firm Ground Control, who as well as giving the space a general tidy mended and painted its fencing.

Nikki Morrison, chair of the Dyke Pre-School committee said: “The garden was overdue a makeover and we are so grateful to the team from Tesco who worked long and hard to spruce it up.

“It’s important that we have a safe outdoor space for the children to play and learn in. We would like to give special thanks to Ian Low from Ground Control who not only gave up valuable time but also donated £200 towards the garden from his budget.

“The garden party was great fun and as well as tucking into lots of lovely cakes, the children got to show off the new outdoor space to their parents.”
