POPPY SCOTLAND’S NORTH of Scotland community fundraisers have organised a special evening of music and remembrance at the Elgin Town Hall.

The ‘Stronger Together’ Remembrance Concert is to take place just a few days before Remembrance Sunday on Thursday, November 10.

Danny Streams, who is the Poppy Scotland fundraiser for the North of Scotland, told insideMoray: “This will be a fantastic evening of music and song featuring the Elgin City Brass Band, who will accompany the Kinloss Military Wives Choir.

“The people of Moray have always been very strong supporters of our military forces and the sacrifices they have made serving their country over the years.

“We look forward to as many as possible attending what will be a fitting concert of remembrance and a tribute to the men and women who have served.”

Doors open for the concert at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, with tickets priced at £10 for adults and £7.50 for concessions available now at Sound and Vision in Elgin.

The Concert has been sponsored by Catherine Robertson Ross MBE.
