ANOTHER ROAD ACCIDENT in Moray last night led to five people being taken to hospital – one a young boy.
The latest crash happened on the A95 at Mulben around 4.30pm involving a blue Honda and a blue Vectra.
All three emergency services plus and air ambulance attended, with a Fire and Rescue Service crew using their cutting equipment to release the boy from the Vectra, before he was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary suffering from back injuries.
His mother suffered minor injuries while his brother was also taken to hospital in Elgin.
The female driver of the blue Honda and her father were also taken to Dr Gray’s as a precaution – they were understood to have been transported to the hospital by a family member as no further ambulance crews were available.
The road remained closed for over two hours as the site of the accident was cleared and initial investigations into its cause were undertaken.
