FIRMS IN MORAY are being invited to accept what is being billed as the closest thing they will get to a free lunch during Moray Business Week.
Business Gateway are behind the ‘Lunch and Learn’ business growth session on November 15, which they will host with the aid of Johnston Carmichael Accountants and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Aimed at helping existing businesses who have plans to grow the session recognises that is not something that can happen without careful planning and solid advice.
Manager of Business Gateway in Moray, Craig Robertson, explained: “The three organisations – who regularly work with businesses looking to grow and develop – will provide an overview of some new products, processes and services which may be useful when firms are at that critical stage of ‘scaling-up’.
“The event will highlight ways to grow through partnerships, innovation, increasing market share and supply chain opportunities. The experts will guide delegates in the preparation of a business growth plan and meeting the challenges this may bring.
“They will run through some vital considerations when planning and managing business growth, such as robust and achievable financial projections, and introducing vital software and tools to help maintain control of the business as well as cashflow solutions.”
Included will be sessions on tax implications or growth within a business – and choosing the right business structure for sustainable growth, plus issues around when to re-invest in the business.
The Managing Business Growth session is free, will be at the Horizon Scotland in Forres Enterprise Park on November 15th between 12 and 2pm – and includes a free lunch.
