Sprinkle of Festive magic will delight young visitors to Brodie

BRODIE CASTLE VISITORS are set for a touch of magic next month as the National Trust for Scotland site prepares for the Festive season.

Celebrations will begin at the historic Moray castle and estate when a Christmas Craft Fare is held on December 3 and 4, a first opportunity to view the Castle decked out for a Victorian Christmas surround a selection of gifts and treats.

On December 11 the historic halls will be filled with festive music as the Marvel of Peru present a seasonal carol concert, as well as pieces by Handel and Bach.

Then perhaps the most magical of Brodie’s events this Christmas is the chance to meet an actual Princess in this fairytale setting. Cinderella will be visiting on Saturday, December 17 and Sunday, December18 December – younger visitors will love this enchanting chance to chat to a princess and will receive a small gift too.

Events manager Rebecca Harrison said: “Christmas at Brodie Castle is shaping up to be a real cracker this year. We’ve got special events for all ages and we’re really hoping that families will grab Christmas by the antlers with the National Trust for Scotland this winter.”
