THE WELFARE OF people in Moray who live with a disability is to be discussed at a special event being held at the Moray Resource Centre in Elgin today.
Moray Disability Forum aims to promote the welfare of disabled people in the region through enabling those with a disability to overcome discrimination in all aspects of life.
They also act as a focal point for consultation and action on issues of common concern, promote a range of locally-based integrated services and liaise with voluntary, statutory and private organisations engaged in the provision of services.
A spokeswoman told insideMoray: “We are holding an information afternoon at 1.30pm today (Monday) at the Moray Resource Centre and would welcome anyone with an interest in disability services in Moray to come along.
“They will be able to find out more about the Moray Disability Forum and have an opportunity to learn how they might become more involved in the work we undertake.”
