ELGIN WILL ONCE again celebrate Easter in style with the annual Family Fun Day being held on Saturday centred on the Plainstones.
From 10am the Elgin Farmers Market stalls will be available – and throughout the day until 4pm visitors will be able to enjoy a variety of activities.
This will be kicked off at 11am by the Elgin & District Pipe Band – while part of the area will flagstones being covered in grass where everyone can have a go at Crazy Golf, or take part in other outdoor games on offer.
With Marvellous Music and Tremendous Tricks, ‘Mini Magic’ is the place to be as it takes children on an exciting magical journey of magic, dance, song, literature and theatre. Sessions are offered free to any child aged three to six and takes place at 11.00am, 12.30pm and 2.00pm. Also back by popular demand is the Instant Easter Egg Treasure Hunt – to enter, simply collect an entry form from the Elgin BID market stall on the Plainstones, take the completed Treasure Hunt back to the market stall and if it is correctly filled out you will be handed a winner’s voucher, which you can be exchanged for your Instant Easter Egg prize.

“The Pop Up Crazy Golf was huge hit and we can’t wait to see how people get on with it this year.
“The aim of our events is to offer a fun day out for the whole family, Elgin has so much to offer visitors, both local and from outside the area, with a great range of shops and lovely places to eat and drink, so why not make the most of the free fun on offer and come and join us.”
