AN ELGIN STORE celebrating quarter of a century of service to the community has provided a boost to Moray’s outdoor adventure charity.
Outfit Moray has received a £1231 donation from ESP Elgin, a surf, ski, snow and skateboard shop on Elgin’s Moss Street.
The cash was raised from their 25th Anniversary celebration at the Laichmoray Hotel at the weekend and represents funds raised in a raffle with Outfit Moray the beneficiary.
Tony Brown, chief executive officer at Outfit Moray, said: “Thanks to the generosity of ESP Elgin’s staff and customers, we will be able to provide more opportunities for young people in Moray to experience outdoor activities such canoeing and climbing.
“Our activities are subsidised, which means that more young people can participate in them.
“So we are very grateful for the support from local businesses such as ESP Elgin which means that we can continue to provide opportunities for young people to reap the health and wellbeing benefits of participating in outdoor adventurous activities.”
Outfit Moray is an award winning outdoor education charity based in Lossiemouth, providing carefully tailored programmes of outdoor learning and adventure activities for schools, youth organisations, families, communities and adults.
