PLANNING FOR THE £36million replacement for Lossiemouth High School is to be subjected to public scrutiny in June.
The project should see a new campus being created a stones-throw from the existing school, with the new building including new community facilities and a swimming pool.
Doors will be opened to the public at the school on Thursday, June 1 from 2pm until 8pm, with Moray Council officers on hand to answer questions on the design plans along with representatives from the designers themselves.
A second session is to be held over two weeks from Monday, June 5 at the Lossiemouth Sports and Community Centre.
Anyone wishing to comment on the proposals is being invited to do so by writing to JM Architects, 64 Queen Street, Edinburgh EH2 4NA by July 7. Written representations should not be sent to Moray Council.
There will be an opportunity to make representations to the council when a formal planning application is made in due course.
