A MORAY ROAD is to be closed to all traffic for four days later this month to allow essential works to be undertaken.
The B9103 Sheriffston to Lossiemouth road will be closed from Tuesday, July 25 until Friday, July 28 at Arthur’s Bridge.
Moray Council say that the complete closure of the route is required to allow their engineers to undertake an “intrusive investigation” of critical supporting elements of the bridge deck.
“In the interests of safety this can only be done without traffic loading on the bridge,” local councillor John Cowe told insideMORAY.
He added: “Regretfully this will inconvenience some road users but it is unavoidable.”
