STAFF AT SPRINGFIELD PROPERTIES office in Elgin have teamed up with Children’s charity, ARCHIE – and raised £1,100 for the foundation.
The team at the house building company organised bake sales, dress down days and bonus ball raffles to raise money for the highlands children’s charity.
The ARCHIE Foundation supports approximately 200,000 sick children and their families each year across the north of Scotland. They are able to offer potentially life changing care and treatment to sick children, training for ARCHIE staff and fund accommodation for family when they’re child is staying in hospital far from home.
Head of fundraising at ARCHIE, Claire Bush, said: “The ARCHIE Foundation is the official charity of the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and Dr Gray’s Children’s Ward in Elgin. The money raised by Springfield will be going to Dr Gray’s to help the children and their families while they are in hospital.
“Any donations raised are very important to the charity as it allows us to work in partnership with the NHS and transform the hospitals we work in to make them world class facilities for today’s and tomorrow’s sick children.”
HR Admin Assistant, Sarah Cantlay, organised the fundraisers in the office: “We like to do our bit for charity where we can and bakes sales or dress down days are a great way to do this while having a bit of fun in the office. It’s great to know that our contribution is going to help the lives of sick children.”
