Car vandalism outside Fisherman’s Hall prompts a police appeal

A CAR HAS BEEN vandalised on a Buckie street prompting an appeal from a local investigating officer.

The incident happened at around 11pm on Saturday (September 23) on North Pringle Street in the Moray town.

PC Rory Fraser commented: “This is an unusual incident for the area and we are appealing for anyone with knowledge or who may have witnessed anything unusual or suspicious to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 5488 of 23 September.

“The car, a blue Nissan Note, was parked outside the Fisherman’s Hall, and there may have been people in the area as there was an event on.

“I would ask anyone who can help to get in touch with us or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
