MORAY RADIO LISTENERS are being warned that the airwaves will be silenced this weekend as Keith Community Radio undergoes some essential maintenance work.
Their main FM transmitter needs a bit of tweaking and that means it has to be turned off from around 11am on Saturday (September 9).
All should be back to normal within two hours, according to a spokesman for the community station who said: “During this time we will still be broadcasting via the online station.
“We apologise for any inconvenience, but this work should stop the transmitter problems which have interrupted our broadcasts several times earlier this year.”

Meanwhile insideMORAY is back on the air this evening with Moray’s only dedicated weekly round-up of news and views. Studio guests this week will be Tamsin Fowlie, the 12-year-old who has taken Scottish Junior Athletics by storm, becoming the fastest girl over 100m and 200m.
Joining Tamsin for Wave Radio with insideMORAY will be Kathryn Evans, the CEO of the Moray Sports Centre project. Check our Facebook Group for more details on the show and an opportunity to pose your questions before and during the broadcast.
