PEOPLE IN MORAY looking for a new career in the Textile industry are being asked to have a look at a new course being introduced by Moray College UHI.
The course will suit those interested in learning more about textile design and who may have experience in drawing but with to develop their skills in a new area.
Providing an excellent grounding in textile creativity, the course would be an ideal starting point for an entirely new career direction.
The part-time course will run on one day each week, either a Monday or a Tuesday, until June 2018 and consist of six Higher National units that will included an introduction to fabric construction, advanced techniques in the same, advance surface decoration for textiles and creative project for artists and designers.
On completion of the course, subject to evaluation, students may progress to part-time HNC Textiles.
