MOTORISTS ARE WARNED of extreme driving conditions on some Moray roads this morning as heavy rain and high winds take a grip.
Police Scotland say that great care should be taken on all roads in the region and given themselves plenty of time for their journey.
They should be particularly cautious of standing water and localised flooding that has been the result of overnight rain – with much more being predicted throughout the morning and into the afternoon.
A spokeswoman said: “Areas currently affected (at 6am today) include the A98 Fochabers to Buckie road, the Mosstodloch to Kingston road and in the area of the Garmouth Golf Club.”
