Kinloss offers opportunity to learn about work of Erskine

MILITARY VETERANS CHARITY ERSKINE are inviting those with an interest in the work of the charity to attend and information session at Kinloss this week.

The Cumming Hall will host the drop-in and information desk from 10am until 12noon on Wednesday, while in the evening there is to be a talk from community fundraiser Michael Parkes from 6pm.

Particularly welcome will be forces personnel, their families and service veterans or any members of the public who may wish to help out the charity. That might be either through knowledge of the need of some support or just a wish to learn more about Erskine – with the charity stressing the invitation is open to all in Moray and not just Kinloss.

Tea and coffee will be available and children are welcome, with a spokesman saying: “Michael will be joined by Karen McBeath who will be happy to explain how Erskine helps to care for over 800 veterans and their spouses each year in our four homes in Scotland.
