POLICE HAVE CONFIRMED that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Forres on Saturday.
Andrew McPherson, 38 and from Forres, was found in an unresponsive condition close to Grant Drive in the town.
He was found at around 4pm on Saturday (September 23) and was rushed to hospital – unfortunately, he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police sealed off the area and maintained a presence outside one of the homes close to where Mr McPherson was found.
While a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal, police have stressed that is a standard procedure.
