Opportunity to tap into independent Advocacy Services in Moray

AN ORGANISATION PROVIDING independent advocacy services throughout Scotland is to hold an information session in Moray.

The Circles Network provide advocacy services in Scotland – giving people assistance where they feel the need for an independent person to explain or clarify events of personal concern.

Their advocates will listen without judgement, inform of options available and sources of help and represent the client point of view, ensuring it is clearly known. The service is independent of the NHS or Local Authority run social work services.

Advocacy in Moray has been provided by Circles since April 1 this year. Their information session will be held at the Moray Resource Centre on Maisondieu Road in Elgin on Monday, November 6 from 10.30am until 12.00pm.

The event is open to everyone and provides a perfect opportunity to learn more about the services and support they offer in the region.

For details on the information session contact is Kenny Owen via email to kennyowen@moray.gov.uk or by calling 01343 551339.
