A PROJECT BORN from the Buckie Class Car Show back in the summer has led to the publication of a special calendar.
Organisers hope that the project will lead to a healthy profit being given to cancer charity CLAN who will benefit from 100% of all sales of the resulting 2018 Calendar.
A spokesman for the car show organisers said: “At the car show in August we asked members of the public to send us photographs of their travels to the show or on the journey back home.
“We had a fantastic response – over 200 images – and that has allowed the production of the Calendar using pics that were of a very high standard. Now the Calendar has been produced with a limited 200 copies – they are a high-quality print A3 in size.
“The front cover image was sent in by George Rhind – and being a ‘sunset’ image we thought it perfect to demonstrate the end of what was a perfect day.”
The Calendars have gone on sale at just £10 at Steve Thornton’s SignEtch shop on Buckie High Street and Autocare in Turriff.
