Everyone welcome to store celebration event in Lossiemouth

MORAY’S LEADING FURNITURE store is holding a two-day event this weekend that seeks to thanks people throughout the region who gave it so much support in their plans to build new premises.

On Saturday and Sunday, Lossiemouth-based Grampian Furnishers is to open their doors to all and enjoy a natter, cup of coffee, cakes and ice-cream.

The event on Saturday will be covered by local community radio in the form of the Wave mobile unit – and for those who cannot attend, Wave will broadcast news on what is to happen with the current Lossiemouth store when owner Royce Clark moves operations to just outside Elgin.

Royce Clark – two day thank-you event this weekend

“We will be announcing who will be taking on the Lossiemouth premises and the exciting plans they have for it when Grampian Furnishers moves on,” Mr Clark told insideMORAY, adding: “Our ‘Pop-in, Pop-up’ event this weekend is our way of saying thank you to the thousands of people who gave us so much support in our expansion plans.

“That includes many local businesses and organisations in Lossiemouth and beyond who were also so supportive of our need to grow the business. Several of them will be present on Saturday and Sunday – and I’m sure there will be a few surprises along the way as well!”

Everyone is welcome from 9am on Saturday to come and go as they please and browse the stalls set up in the store by Moray groups.

Royce added: “We will be showcasing and promoting some fabulous businesses – and they will be offering some free samples throughout the two days. And of course our regular customers will still be able to browse our latest range while they are there – the welcome will just be even more hospitable than it always is.”
