A MORAY GARDEN CENTRE is to hold a winter giveaway – just in time for Christmas.
And to make things that little bit more interesting they have secreted the special prizes all around woods and parks in Moray, just waiting to be discovered.
They are hiding 11 specially decorated rocks, each with a letter of the word ‘THREAPLANDS’ on it – and each rock will correspond to a prize that the finder can claim by taking the rock to the Garden Centre on the A96 at Lhanbryde.
Prizes will range from garden ornaments to plans and Christmas decorations – while there will also be a star prize – one of the centre’s range of new Christmas Trees up to seven feet tall.
The rocks were all put in place yesterday (Sunday) – so get out there and search as some may already have been found.
Marketing Manager Caroline Overton said: “As a small family run business, we recognise the importance of our very loyal customer following and wanted to thank the community for its continued support with a bit of fun – and encourage families out into the wonderful green spaces we have in Moray.”
Garden Centre Director Scott Higgins added: “We’re hoping this unusual giveaway will get people out and about with friends and family and bring some cheer to the lucky rock finders.”
