ANOTHER MORAY GROUP is urging people who might be alone this Festive season to join them for a special community Christmas Day lunch.

The lunch will be served up with all the trimmings – with tables available for individuals or families with a ‘quiet area’ and lots of fun and games for those who wish to join in.

‘A Very Moray Community Christmas’ is being held in Rothes and has already been hard at work in recent months with a series of fundraising events. Donations have also been made by local companies and individuals for an event that is open to anyone living in Moray.

A spokeswoman told insideMORAY: “We have been working towards this by holding our own events or setting up stalls at a variety of events around Moray throughout the year to ensure we have sufficient funding to make this a Christmas Day to remember for those who need it most.”
