THE RECOVERY OF heroin with a street value of just under £2000 led to an Elgin man appearing in court this weekend.
The 40-year-old was charged following the recovery of the Class A drugs following a search in North Street on Friday.
Constable Karl Jellis from the Divisional Alcohol Violence Reduction unit said: “North East Division remain committed to preventing the supply of controlled drugs and we will continue to look towards detecting and disrupting those involved in drug-related crime.
