A WOMAN MOTORISTS escaped serious injury when her vehicle ended up on its side on a Moray road on Monday evening.
The blue Hyundai crashed into a bridge and ended up on its side on Regent Street in Keith at around 6.30pm.
Police reported congestion on that part of the A96 Elgin to Aberdeen route for some time as emergency services dealt with the incident.
A police spokesman said: “We received a call at 6.30pm about a car crashing into a bridge. It appears that there was just one car involved which came to a rest on its side.
“The female driver was treated by paramedics and is not thought to have suffered any serious injuries, while the bridge itself was not damaged.”
