AN ORGANISATION THAT empowers communities to devise and implement their own strategies for local funds is seeking to recruit a co-ordinator for Moray, the North East and Highlands.
Foundation Scotland implement strategies for local funds that come from a range of resources such as onshore wind farms.
They provide fund governance, grant administration and related services for a range of commercial and community-sector clients, with a commitment to community-led approaches.
Their vacant post is for a new member of their community team, co-ordinating a portfolio of community benefit funds in north and north east Scotland. Key responsibilities include working with volunteer Advisory Panels and Boards, co-ordinating grant-making and related fund activity, and engaging communities in maximising fund opportunities and impact.
Seeking assistance from insideMORAY to publicise the vacancy, a spokesman said: “If you have excellent communication skills, practical experience in grant making, community facilitation and capacity building – then we’re keen to hear from you.
“The post will cover parts of Highland, Aberdeenshire and Moray. There is a requirement for flexibility to occasionally travel more widely in Scotland, including occasional overnight stays.”
