A surge of interest in applying for funding from Moray LEADER means the programme is on course to commit its entire budget by early next year.
The last round of applicants for Moray LEADER funding are now working on submitting their applications by the final deadline of 14th December.
Following this, the Local Action Group (LAG) will meet in February to assess these applications and decide which ones will be awarded funding.
Meanwhile, no more expressions of interest are being accepted by the programme.
Moray LAG Chair Alastair Kennedy said: “As we approach our final deadline for the programme, there has been a surge of interest in applying for LEADER funding, with more than 30 applications in the pipeline. We are very grateful to everyone who has been in touch and who has applied or submitted an expression of interest in applying.
“The Moray LEADER team are working flat out to process the applications that have been submitted, and to support potential applicants aiming for the December 14th deadline.
“It is likely that these applications will enable us to commit our entire budget by the end of March 2019.
“If that situation changes and there is an opportunity for more funding applications, we will let people know through our newsletter, website and Facebook pages.”
