All roads lead to Moray next weekend when bikers from throughout Scotland congregate on Tomintoul for one of the most anticipated events of the year.
The annual ‘bikefest’ brings hundreds of motor cycle enthusiasts to the village which will welcome them with live music events including a performance by biker rock band ‘Slider’ who will perform at the Glen Avon Hotel on Friday evening.
Local pubs throughout the village will feature more live music on Saturday from noon while trade stands and bike displays will be set up around the village. In the evening on Saturday the AC/DC tribute band ‘Livewire’ will perform.
The bikes themselves will then take centre stage on Sunday, September 7 when they gather in the village for a parade before heading off to a motorcycle convention in Alford.
Tickets for the Livewire performance can be obtained in advance from the Tomintoul and Glenlivet Development Trust on 01807 580285.
