Families from Lossiemouth and Elgin are being given priority to attend free Christmas Craft Days thanks to special funding secured by the environmental group Wild Things!
The funding offers an opportunity for families in the two towns to be offered places at the fun-filled craft creation events in Findhorn on December 7 and December 14.
A spokeswoman for Wild Things! said: “We are inviting families to join us in celebrating the festive season as we drink mulled juice around the fire (weather permitting) and hear some winter tales for the Wild Things! Christmas Craft Days.
“People attending can get creative with some wonderful woodland festive crafts and learn how to track some of the animals you may find during this frosty time of the year.”
Family groups attending need to have at least one child aged between three and eight years.
The Craft Days will be from 12noon until 3pm on Sunday, December 7 and Sunday, December 14 at the Findhorn Village Centre.
There will be no charge for Elgin or Lossiemouth based families and transport will also be provided for those requiring it, with pick-up at the Elgin Community Centre.
The Craft Days are also open to families from throughout Moray, however the special funding means that those from Elgin and Lossiemouth are being given priority.
