A Moray Highland League club who recently signed up a new manager are now seeking divine intervention to help him keep players on the straight and narrow.
Lossiemouth FC has recruited the services of a Chaplain in the form of Pastor Rae MacKenzie from the Lossiemouth Baptist Church.
Revealing the move club chairman Royce Clark said: “It is an SFA initiative that many Highland League sides are now putting in place.
“I feel it can only be good for the players and everyone at the club to have a neutral person they can confide with in confidence.”
Meanwhile the Lossie boss was dealing with more earthly matters this week by announcing that the club had secured a new training kit sponsor.
Nairn-based Alba Business Services handed over new first-team kit last weekend when the club travelled to meet Nairn County in a Highland League match.
While Alba have close connections with Nairn Council the business also has a presence in Elgin – prompting the support for one of Moray’s local clubs.
