It is women all the way for the next laughter session at Moray’s leading entertainment venue when an all-female cast will provide the laughs at the Comedy Club.
The monthly club at the Drouthy Cobbler is to feature a women-only line up at their ‘Do you Like Jokes?’ show on the last Wednesday of each month.
Featuring both established comedy acts and a stage for new up and coming comedy talent, the comedy club’s night on Wednesday, November 26 will headline Stand Comedy Club regular Elaine Malcolmson acting as master of ceremonies.
Elaine is a regular on the festival scene and was nominated for a Scottish Variety Award in 2010 – she has also written for Radio Scotland and BBC radio 7.
Also on the bill is a semi-finalist of both the ‘Funny Women’ and ‘So You Think You Are Funny’ compeitions, Ruth E Cockburn, who will bring the evening to a close.
Completing the laughter line up is Daisy Earl, Clair Myychael and Clair Pirie.
Since it began in July tickets have been much in demand for the regular monthly evening of laughter – they are available at £10 from the bar or online from www.thedrouthycobbler.co.uk.
