Police are hoping that members of the public will step forward and provide information on a recent spate of housebreakings in Buckie.
Homes in McKenzie Road, West Church Street and South Pringle Street were broken into in the weeks leading up to Christmas, the first at around 2pm on December 16 and the last at around 9am on December 21.
Items taken were valued at a high three-figure sum.
A spokeswoman for the local division of Police Scotland said: “We are appealing for information following the spate of thefts by housebreaking to a number of residential properties in Buckie.
“As a result of these thefts domestic items, food and drinks valued at a high three-figure sum were stolen.
“We are urging anyone who might have information on these thefts to contact us on 101 or via the Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.”
