Two suffer minor injuries in Moray road accident

Two people were taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin yesterday following a two-vehicle collision in Moray.

The accident happened at around 7pm on Friday evening and led to an 80-year-old man being treated for injuries that are not thought to have been serious.

A woman was also taken to the hospital but again her injuries were reported as not being serious after the crash on the A941 near the Longmorn distillery.

Police say that the road was closed for a short while as the vehicles were removed from the scene.

Diversions were in place at the roundabout junction with Reiket Lane and the A941.
