Police warning over veterinary drugs theft in Buckie


A theft of a box containing drugs for use by vets to treat animals has sparked a warning by local police officers in Buckie.

The box was taken from a parked vehicle in the town in the early hours of Saturday morning in the Milton Drive area.

Police officers believe that the thieves may attempt to sell on the drugs – and have warned that they can be dangerous if taken by humans.

An appeal has been issued for information on the theft with anyone who might be able to assist asked to contact police on 101 or through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
