JOB SEEKERS IN a Speyside community will be able to share ideas, create CV’s and receive assistance with their applications from another local library from next week.

Several Moray libraries have well-established Job Clubs – but for the first time on Wednesday, the Aberlour Library will be making the service available from 10am until 12noon.

The Job Club will meet at the same day and time weekly from then, allowing people to receive advice and support in their search for work and also to share experiences with others in a similar position.

Research has shown that the best way to gain employment is through friends, family or social networks such as job clubs – and that has certainly proven to be the case in communities where job clubs already exist.

More information about the new club is available by contacting Anne Owens on 01343 562612 or at anne.owens@moray.gov.uk.

Aberlour will be the sixth job club set up by Moray Council’s libraries service, with clubs already running at Elgin, Buckie, Keith, Forres and Lossiemouth.
